Overview

For this project, the class operated as a full design agency to develop the branding, marketing
materials, and interactive website for Future Frontiers 2025, a fully virtual event centered on
space exploration and emerging technology. This large-scale, team-based project was designed
to showcase our skills in web design, user experience, collaboration, and creative
problem-solving.

Each student took on a specific role within the “agency,” contributing to the overall project while
tracking their individual responsibilities.

My Contribution

As Art Director, albeit late to the role I was responsible for setting and maintaining the overall visual direction of the Future Frontiers 2025 project. I developed the brand’s style guide, including the color palette, typography, logo system, and visual tone. My role involved guiding the design team to ensure consistency across all deliverables from the website and email layouts to social media graphics and motion assets. I provided creative feedback, led visual critiques, and helped align our work with the client’s futuristic, space-focused vision. Ultimately, I ensured that every design element reflected a cohesive and professional brand experience. I was also briefly the Email Campaign Manager before
being given the promotion and role of art director and I ensured that the emails maintained the branding of the site.
